Pranayama after bypass surgery 4 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
    Dear Yogacharya-ji

Namaste. My father (age 59 yrs) had a bypass surgery about six months ago due to blocks in his cardiac artery. Now he is well and can perform normal activities including walking, cycling etc without difficulty. His blood pressure is normal. In this circumstances, is it safe for him to exercise pranayamas, e.g., Bhastrika, Kapalbhanti etc ? Or, he should wait longer ?

Kindly help me with the answer. Thank you.

    Best regards

    Aniruddha
